12" breakarch engraved and silvered brass dial with moonphases to arch, subsidiary seconds dial and "sad mouth" date aperture. N.B. The engraving is particularly fine and delicate.

He was apprenticed to Henry Rendell of Tiverton on 25th July 1776 for 7 years at a premium of £13-13-0 ( 13 guineas ).Tiverton being the closest town to Cullompton and within easy reach.
