CASE DETAILS
A good, small, pretty, long door plain oak case with quarter sawn oak trunk door of typically "Aberdeen" style and construction.Side windows to hood, hood rear quarter columns. Unmistakably "Aberdeen" in style and construction - note proportions and gilt crest centreing top of hood.
DIAL DETAILS
12" engraved and silvered brass dial with moonphases to arch, subsidiary seconds dial and round date aperture. N.B. The moonphase disc is of the transitional style with part starry sky background and part seascape. Blued cut steel hands.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
Good quality, 4 pillar, 8 day movement with hourly ( rack ) striking.

Bonnar and Morrison of Aberdeen recorded " late 18C."
