CASE DETAILS
Very good, very small, long door oak case of good colour and patination with detachable caddy top, pierced fretwork under, "pillars attached" hood door, quarter columns to rear of hood, side windows to hood, and plain base with "kicking strip" at bottom.
DIAL DETAILS
12" square brass dial with finely matted and engraved dial centre, ringed round date aperture, silvered subsidiary seconds and chapter rings the latter with "floating" half hour markers, "Indian head" cast brass spandrels and blued, cut steel hands.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
Good quality 8 day, 4 knopped pillar movement with hourly ( rack ) striking on a single bell.
