Slender Mahogany crossbanded Oak case with swan neck pediment and single eagle ball finial. N.B. The oak is quarter sawn giving a "golden feathers" effect to the grain.
DIAL DETAILS
12" square painted dial with fruit laden cornucopiae to corner decorations. Subsidiary seconds dial, "sad mouth" date aperture.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
8 day hourly (rack) striking on a single bell.
MAKER DETAILS
H. (Harry) Watts of Poole recorded 1824-30.
