Case | A good, SMALL, well proportioned, long door, oak case with urn finial centred swan neck pediment and "Bamboo" effect "floating" hood columns. Breakarch top to trunk door. Simple shaped strip plinth base. | |
Dial | 12" breakarch very early "Wilson" painted dial with subsidiary seconds dial and square cut date aperture ( later ones have curved ends ). Early style raised gesso scrolls flanking flower painting to arch and to dial corners. Black painted cut steel hands. | |
Movement | Good quality, 4 pillar, 8 day movement with hourly ( rack ) striking. | |
