Movement | Good quality 8 day movement with 4, ringed and knopped pillars.Hourly ( inside countwheel ) striking on a single bell.Movement plates of breakarch form, vertically mounted bell, tulip shaped crutch - all very similar to work produced by the very famous Thomas Ogden also known to have been working in Halifax at this time which begs the question - was it made in the Ogden workshops, bought in by Womersly and sold under his name ? | |
