CASE DETAILS
Long door, mahogany case with triple spire/ball finial mounted unusual top, seen before but which does not tend to fall into normal description. See pic's. Anyway... Side windows to hood, Corinthian capped fluted hood columns, breakarch top to trunk door, small, neat, fluted, canted corners to trunk, recessed panelled base and shallow bracket feet.
DIAL DETAILS
12" breakarch early "Wilson" painted dial with Roman chapters, "minutes numbered" Arabic outers, moonphases to arch and raised, gilt gesso edged, fruit painted, corner spandrels. Subsidiary seconds dial and "sad mouth" date aperture. Blued, cut steel, lozenge hands.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
Good quality, 8 day, 4 pillar, hourly ( rack ) striking movement with geared moon drive.
