A very good, well proportioned, typically West Country, crossbanded and boxwood strung, figured mahogany, case with eagle/ball centred swan neck pediment, brass Corinthian capped hood columns, wavy inner edge to hood door, shaped hood backsplats, canted, boxwood strung sides to trunk, and shallow bracket feet.
DIAL DETAILS
12" breakarch ( Finnemore & Son ) painted dial with moonphases to arch, subsidiary seconds dial, 'sad mouth' date aperture, pink rose centred corner spandrels and blued cut steel hands. N.B. Finnemore & Son recorded 1828 - 40.

Good quality, 4 pillar, 8 day movement with hourly ( rack ) striking.
