Typical "London" late 18C/early 19C pale flame mahogany case with "lazy ogee" flat top, side hood windows, canted, reeded, brass insert, pillarless hood, "lazy ogee" top to long trunk door, raised panel to base and typical two step shaped plinth, the lower with decorative fret.
DIAL DETAILS
12" exquisitely engraved and silvered, "lazy ogee" flat top dial having subsidiary seconds and date dials with "Bramble, Oxford Street" script engraved between ogees at the top of the dial.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
High quality, 5 pillar, 8 day, weight driven movement with anchor escapement and hourly ( rack ) striking.Wood rod pendulum with heavy brass bob.Brass bound weights.
