CASE DETAILS
Typical "Portsmouth" area long door, figured mahogany, pagoda top case of very good colour and patination with "silk" backed central pierced fret, greek key pattern detail under, "flying" fluted hood columns, bone/ivory key escutcheon to trunk door, finely moulded detail to trunk verticals, and fielded base panel, all set on shallow bracket feet.
DIAL DETAILS
12" engraved and silvered brass dial with moophases to arch, subsidiary seconds dial, centre sweep date indicator and finely detailed engraved scrolling to dial centre. Blued cut steel hands.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
High quality 5 pillar movement with typical Avenell tee shaped front plate to accommodate the under dial motion work for the moon phase disc. Hourly ( rack ) striking on a single bell. Pull Hour Repeat.
