12" breakarch painted dial with moonphases to arch and "High Water at London Bridge", subsidiary seconds and date dials, strike and not strike lever at 3 O'clock position. Dial centre signed Thos. Dobson, Chiswell St. London Fine, matching, brass hands with original gilding.
MOVEMENT DETAILS
Exceptional 5 pillar movement with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, tee shaped front plate to take the particularly well executed gear driven moonwork and regulator style suspension for the wood rod pendulum, strike/not strike facility, moon phases, High Water at London Bridge and sought after classic case style with stopped brass canted reeded corners to trunk.
