Case Good quality, long door, flat top, quarter sawn oak case with burrwood ( walnut ? ) crossbanding and strong medullary rays."Silk" backed fret below cornice, breakarch side windows to hood, Corinthian capped "flying" hood columns, typical ogee throat moulding, all set on shaped, shallow bracket feet.
Dial 12" square brass dial with matted centre, typical large cherubs head cast brass spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial and square date box. Blued cut steel hands.
Movement Extremely well executed, 8 day, 4 pillar, movement with hourly ( rack ) striking.
