Dial 11" Square brass dial with matted centre. Cherub & Crown spandrels. Date aperture.
Movement 30 hour, with four ringed pillars and (countwheel) hourly striking on a single bell.
Maker William Porthouse, Penrith. A prolific and well respected maker.
Date Recorded 1706 - 1795 (possibly two people). By style , Mid 18th century.
Height 84" (214cms).
